Adapt the resource to the learner
An adult might complete one activity at a time, read instructions aloud, use practical objects, allow movement breaks or stop before a full page is finished. The aim is to support participation and confidence rather than require every learner to work in the same way.
An important limitation
“SEN-friendly” does not mean that every workbook will meet every child’s needs. Growspire resources are not a diagnosis, therapy, specialist programme or substitute for advice from teachers, SEND professionals or healthcare practitioners. Adults should use their knowledge of the learner when selecting and adapting activities.
